Just Pupusas is built around a single idea: El Salvador's most iconic dish, made the right way. Traditional masa, real fillings, no shortcuts. That's it.
The dish
A pupusa is a handmade Salvadoran corn cake — griddled golden, filled with melty cheese, slow-cooked meat, or beans. Served with curtido and salsa roja. That's the traditional way.
The short menu is the point
A short menu is a deliberate choice. Every pupusa gets the attention it deserves — properly seasoned, properly griddled, fresh every time.
The fillings
Six fillings: Queso, Frijoles con Queso, Queso con Jalapeño, Queso con Loroco, Chicharrón, and Revuelta. Something for everyone — nothing gratuitous.
Delivery, pickup, and beyond
Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Just Pupusas delivers across the DMV, with pickup available and catering for groups and events. Pop-ups happen too — follow along to catch us in your neighborhood. ¡Buen provecho!
